Hartwell Roofing & Siding was founded in 2004 by brothers Michael and Daniel Hartwell after spending years working in residential construction. They'd seen firsthand how many contractors treated homeowners as transactions — pushy sales, vague estimates, and crews that disappeared when problems showed up.
They wanted to create a contractor homeowners could actually feel comfortable calling. A company where the person who gave you the estimate was the same person whose family name was on the truck. Where "we'll take care of it" actually meant something.
More than two decades later, Hartwell remains family-owned and operated. Michael still meets with homeowners personally, Daniel still walks job sites, and the standard they set in 2004 — honest recommendations, respectful crews, and clean job sites — is the standard every project is held to today.
