Michael Hartwell
Owner / Co-Founder
Michael founded Hartwell Roofing & Siding with his brother Daniel in 2004 after more than a decade in residential construction. He still meets with homeowners personally and oversees every major project from estimate to final walkthrough.
Lives in Brookfield with his wife and two kids. Coaches youth baseball and volunteers with the local Habitat for Humanity chapter.
Daniel Hartwell
Co-Founder
Daniel runs the production side of the business, making sure every crew has what it needs and every job site meets the family's standard. He's the reason Hartwell's cleanups have become a local talking point.
A weekend woodworker who built most of the furniture in the company office. Father of three and a regular at the Saturday morning farmers market.
Angela Brooks
Operations Manager
Angela keeps the whole company running — scheduling, permits, and the logistics that let the crews focus on craftsmanship. She joined Hartwell in 2014 and has helped the team grow without losing its family feel.
Born and raised in Lakeside. Sings in her church choir and has a golden retriever named Copper who occasionally visits the office.
Carlos Mendoza
Roofing Project Manager
Carlos leads the roofing crews and has been on a Hartwell roof nearly every workday since 2010. He knows the region's weather patterns, the common failure points on older homes, and how to keep a crew safe and efficient.
Grew up helping his father's handyman business. Lives in Westhaven, loves cooking for his extended family, and plays in an adult soccer league.
Jenna Walsh
Customer Care Manager
Jenna is usually the first voice you hear on the phone and the person who makes sure no homeowner ever feels out of the loop. She built the company's communication checklist that the crews now follow on every project.
A Brookfield native and busy mom of twins. Volunteers at her kids' school library and is halfway through a home baking certification.
Kevin Park
Siding Project Manager
Kevin runs the siding division and has a sharp eye for color, trim, and the details that separate a good siding job from a great one. He leads the company's color consultations for homeowners choosing new exteriors.
An amateur photographer who shoots the company's before-and-after photos. Lives in Northgate with his partner and their rescue cat.
Ray Donovan
Lead Estimator
Ray has spent 30 years in exterior contracting and brings a no-pressure, plain-spoken approach to every estimate. Homeowners consistently tell us he's the first contractor who explained their options without trying to sell them something they didn't need.
A military veteran who served in the National Guard. Grandfather of four and a devoted morning walker around the Lakeside reservoir.
Marcus Reed
Production Coordinator
Marcus coordinates materials, deliveries, and crew schedules so projects stay on time. He's the reason the right shingles and siding show up on the right day — a job that sounds simple until you've seen it done poorly.
Greenville native who plays bass guitar in a local cover band on weekends. Recently became a first-time dad.
